As the first publication ever created about Bitcoin, by Vitalik Buterin and Mihai Alisie in 2012, Bitcoin Magazine is the original source of news and commentary on the technology and people driving the cryptocurrency movement. Today, it provides analysis, research, education and technical perspectives on the world of cryptocurrency.
As the oldest publication dedicated to covering Bitcoin and its diverse community, Bitcoin Magazine was launched by two original members of the cryptocurrency space who felt that the media coverage around the digital revolution was severely lacking. Initially launched as a print publication, Bitcoin Magazine’s mission has always been to serve as the world’s most-trusted source of Bitcoin, blockchain and cryptocurrency news. When founder Vitalik Buterin decided to focus his time on launching Ethereum, BTC Inc purchased Bitcoin Magazine and relaunched its web presence, improving its coverage and global readership to millions of people worldwide.
