Human Rights Activist

Bota Jardemalie, a Harvard Law graduate, is a licensed attorney in the State of New York and a human rights defender from Kazakhstan. For years, she had defended the Kazakh opposition, political activists, human rights defenders and victims of torture. She advocates for Human rights, democracy, and the fight against corruption. For years, Ms Jardemalie has been working with Open Dialogue Foundation advising on issues of the reform of Interpol, personal sanctions regimes, problems of misuse of mutual legal cooperation, especially in the politically motivated cases, crypto-currency legislation, as well as problems of de-risking and abuse of AML/CFT legislations.
