Eric is the author of “Cryptoeconomics: The Fundamental Principles of Bitcoin”, creator of the CryptoEcon conference, and maintainer of the Libbitcoin software libraries since 2014. He has founded several software startups, the first of which was acquired by Microsoft, where he spent two years as a software architect. He holds a computer science degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is a former US Navy F/A-18 pilot and TopGun graduate.
