Miles is an investor and a banking and payments expert who has built numerous innovative financial services businesses. He was awarded seven patents related to payment processing services during the development of EWI Holdings, acquired by Blackhawk in 2006. In addition to developing the industry’s first cryptocurrency-linked debit cards implemented worldwide. Miles and FV Bank co-founder Nitin Agarwal have been issued a U.S. patent for the development of stablecoin instruments backed by sovereign debt and on-chain KYC.

His most recent venture is co-founding FV Bank, which is redefining the crypto industry by bringing the confidence of a regulated bank and digital asset custodian and payment provider to the industry. FV Bank provides the needed trust, consumer protection, and compliance (AML/KYC/KYB and other measures) to move the crypto industry into mainstream markets.
