Bitcoin 2019 is the annual event for the Bitcoin community. It is a collaborative gathering of old and new friends and a chance to refocus on the technical challenges and innovative opportunities facing the world’s original cryptocurrency. Bitcoin can mean many different things to many different people, but at Bitcoin 2019 the focus is on Nakamoto Consensus, the original model laid out by Bitcoin’s pseudonymous creator.
Bitcoin 2019 is open to all of those who want to collaborate and innovate toward Bitcoin’s future. A decade since its inception, the Bitcoin community has become fraught with mutually exclusive perspectives and divided by ideological lines in the sand. Bitcoin 2019 is the chance to check your baggage at the door and explore opportunities to move Bitcoin forward on common ground. We are not BTC maximalists, but this event is only about BTC.
Bitcoin 2019 will be held at SVN West, 10 South Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco, California 94103.
There is no age limit for attending the conference, but we will be checking IDs at the door for access to the rooftop bar.
We want Bitcoin 2019 attendees to come as they are. There is no dress code and we seek to cultivate a casual and welcoming environment reminiscent of the Bitcoin 2013 and Bitcoin 2014 conferences.
