The TAP Hackathon Competition will take place October 9 - 10 at Bitcoin Amsterdam 2024, bringing together the world's most innovative early-stage and growth Bitcoin startups to pitch for the grand prize pool.
Their efforts will be judged by an expert panel and the Bitcoin Ecosystem community, making the TAP Hackathon Competition the place where the future of emerging technologies on the Bitcoin Network unfolds. If you have conviction that you are building the next Bitcoin unicorn, this stage is yours for the taking.
Stage 1
Complete your application by Friday, September 20, 2024.
Stage 2
The TAP Hackathon Competition review committee will assess every single application, ranking them based on four main criterias: innovation, viability, impact on ecosystem, and the potential to scale.
Stage 3
The top 15 projects will be interviewed after the application closes. 10 finalists will be selected to join us at Bitcoin Amsterdam for a 2 day hackathon event where several other developers at the conference will build alongside our finalists.
On day 2, the top 3 projects will be invited to pitch their solution. After a brief Q&A session, the judges will select the winners.
We are excited to announce that there will be four tracks that will be prioritized for our upcoming startup competition event. These tracks have been carefully selected to align with our goals and the innovative spirit of our community.
Focusing on ushering in gamers and meme coin enthusiasts to join our ecosystem and build the next-generation games right on top of the secure Bitcoin L1 layer.
This track aims to integrate social elements with financial incentives, encouraging community engagement and social interaction to expedite our adoption plan and onboarding of the next generation of users to TAP.
Participants in this track will develop decentralized financial solutions that enhance the economic aspects of our ecosystem, including activation of staking mechanisms, swaps, and cross-chain innovations.
This track will emphasize the integration of Real-World Assets and Decentralized Physical Infrastructure with TAP protocol, driving innovation and practical applications within the blockchain ecosystem at large..
