Full Stack Developer

Altonomy is looking for an experienced full stack developer to join its growing development community in Singapore. He/she will have the opportunity to participate in developing next generation software systems to meet the growing demands of the cryptocurrencies industry.

POSITION SUMMARY

1. Work closely with Senior Engineers to develop innovative software solutions for our global cryptocurrencies businesses and operations
2. Design, develop and own high-performance scalable solution stacks
3. Maintain and help optimize existing systems
4. Contribute to inter-team and cross-team efforts to enforce standards and ensure adherence to optimum software designs patterns
5. Work closely with existing global team to provide 24x7 support coverage and timely incident response

EXPERIENCE:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar disciplines
2. Familiarity with Unix-like operating systems
3. 2-4 years’ experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
4. Experience working on client facing web applications preferred
5. End-to-end full stack development experience is a must

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

1. Good communication skills
2. Able to work independently
3. Interest in both traditional finance and cryptocurrency markets
4. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in at least one modern software stack (e.g. React) and have a good grasp of software engineering principles
5. Proficient in JavaScript, CSS, Python and SQL
6. Knowledge of other technologies such as C/C++, Nodejs, TypeScript, SASS is a plus
7. Familiarity with cloud computing services (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
8. Project management experience is a plus
