Outsourcing Oversight Manager

The successful candidate will report to the Chief Risk Officer.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Advising group entities on adherence to the Outsourcing Policy
• Act as the owner and subject matter expert of the outsourcing procedures
• Cooperation with relevant outsourcing parties to provide guidance and advice to ensure their outsourcing arrangements are aligned with business needs and compliant with the regulations and internal requirements
• Review and advise on new outsourcing proposal submissions
• Cooperate with business functions to negotiate contracts and execute due diligence aligned with business needs and compliant with the regulations and internal requirements
• Participate as necessary in projects for the termination of any outsourced service
• Maintenance and coordination of timely updates of the Outsourcing Register across multiple entities
• Manage the internal monitoring and oversight process, including collating data, challenging service recipients, identifying improvements, tracking actions to completion
• Engage in periodic service reviews to ensure that all contracts remain consistent with services delivered and that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) remain within agreed tolerances
• Timely and accurate delivery of outsourcing reports to management and Board
• Work with cross-functional teams to help identify issues that require flagging to senior management
• Complete a periodic review (at least annually) of KPIs and KRIs to ensure they remain fit for purpose
• Completion of Regulatory submissions as required and assist business functions in responding to regulatory queries, on-site visit preparation and follow-on requests for information
• Work closely with Compliance on regulatory notifications and interactions
• Propose updates to Outsourcing Policy and procedures to remediate any gaps with regulatory and other requirements

Required qualifications, skills and experience:

• 5+ years of experience in outsourcing oversight
• Strong experience in financial services biusiness
• Good understanding of the applicable regulatory framework
• Knowledge of outsourcing control and monitoring
• Motivation to work in a developing and dynamic environment
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Fluency in English language
• Knowledge of the blockchain and virtual currency environment is an asset
